WRITE 2 BE MAGAZINE INTERVIEWS TWA SOLUTIONS FOUNDER

1) When did you first become interested in being a writer?
Well, my interest was sparked more than 35 years ago. Now I’m telling my age, of course, but I started journaling in junior high school when Mom bought me my first diary. It was orange with a gold lock and key. I loved that diary. The stuff I wrote in that diary was truly fictional, made-up short stories off the top of my head. Times when I had nothing to do, wasn’t hanging out with my friends, I wrote short stories.

LORD, DELIVER ME FROM CHURCH FOLKS

Award-winning author, BRIAN GANGES, releases Lord, Deliver Me From Church Folks, a timely call-to-order that tackles many of the relevant issues and topics of the day. Many of the myths, misconceptions, erroneous teachings and traditions of men that have damaged the faith of many believers in Christ are skillfully and tactfully addressed in his latest book.

This is the book your pastor doesn’t want you to read.

For too long, Church folks have taken the words of their favorite preachers, and blindly followed the beliefs of others, without thoroughly studying the Word for themselves. People have hinged their faith, not upon the Word of God, but upon the words and interpretations of man that have little, if any, backing in Scripture.

Entrusting how you live your life, and what you will be held accountable for before God, is not something that should be left to chance based upon another’s interpretation. It should be grounded solely on a personal relationship with God and a foundation rooted in Biblical teaching. How you view: tithing, suicide, gay marriage, pornography, political issues, communion, speaking in tongues, smoking, drinking, gambling, and baptism among other things, should be guided solely based on the Word of God.

In Lord Deliver Me From Church Folks, Brian Ganges boldly challenges you to take a second look at everyday issues from the standpoint of Biblical teaching vs. the teaching of Man. Through thought provoking illustrations, supported by corresponding Scripture, Mr. Ganges shares how to be free from the bondage of the traditions of Church folks.

Haunted by dreams deferred and a dangerous marriage, this Los Angelean yearns of bringing her poetry to New York. Wounded by a miscarriage and saddled with RONNIE, an angry husband, Kal tries desperately to find an outlet for her struggling artistic voice. Adding to her distress is best friend and compatriot DAPHNE, also grappling with love issues. Daphne’s boyfriend STEVE is a lout who willfully and regularly takes advantage of Daphne and Kal doesn’t approve. This turmoil, coupled with the surprise and uncertainty of new love CURTIS JACKSON, hits Kal where she’s most vulnerable. Just as Kal helps Curtis with his unchallenged perceptions about his damaged past relationship and estranged young daughter, Curtis’ influence leads Kal to dig deeper, to find her voice, and ultimately, a sense of self worth.
